This Morning Routine Completely Changed My Life!
The "Old" Me
After the accident, we both believed the best version of us was gone for good.
I was 226 pounds. Every step felt like a chore.
Just putting away laundry left me winded and embarrassed.
I hated mirrors, photos, tight clothes — all of it.
My husband was carrying even more.
At 328 pounds, sleep was rare and pain was constant.
He’d wake up aching, doze off in the recliner, and shuffle through the day with no spark left.
We tried every “easy fix” out there. Nothing worked. Nothing lasted.
One afternoon changed everything.
He came back from a quick grocery trip with milk, eggs, and a story about his old friend from the garage, Thomas.
Only Thomas didn’t look anything like the guy he used to drink beers with after work.
Thomas was lean, clear-eyed, and bouncing on his feet like he was twenty again.
And when he asked what he’d done, Thomas laughed and said, “It's my lazy Morning Routine.”
At first, I rolled my eyes. Another “miracle fix”? We’d heard it all before. But what did we have to lose?
We decided to try it for a week. Just to prove Thomas wrong.
But here’s the thing — we were wrong!
By day five, I could walk to the mailbox and back without sitting on the porch steps.
My husband started sleeping through the night — no tossing, no snoring that rattled the windows.
A month in, he ran around the yard with our nephews for the first time in years. I still remember watching him, laughing so hard I nearly cried.
With the lazy Morning Routine:
✅ We didn’t starve ourselves.
✅ We didn’t spend hours in a gym we hated.
✅ We didn’t give up the food we love.
The "New" Me!
And the pounds started to come off — slowly, then faster. But more than that, our bodies didn’t ache like they used to.
We woke up feeling ready instead of dreading the day.
We've been stuck before — tired, stuck, ashamed, and feeling like the best days are behind us— so please don’t wait.
Click below and hear what Thomas told us that day. Try it for yourself. I’d give anything to go back and tell my old self: It’s not too late.
